My father, (Warren Katona) started in the Fire Sprinkler industry in 1956. He worked with H.G. Vogel Company.

The business card attached was his Grandfather's. 

Year's later my father, and a partner formed Accurate Sprinkler Corp in 1968. In 1974 Accurate Sprinkler Corp was restructured to Adequate Fire Protection Inc.

When I was a young boy I played in my father's shop, and by the time I was 15 years old, I was fabricating pipe there.

Straight out of High School in 1983 at the age of 17, I began

the apprenticeship program, and worked for Adequate Fire Protection side by side with my father for many years. 

My father decided to retire in 2005, after working 49 years in the industry, As a result I formed A.F.P. Sprinkler Corporation.
